The Artist's Way in Midlife and Beyond

Are you entering, or in, your second half of life and asking, “now what?” Are you feeling a pull towards creativity? Or searching for new meaning and purpose? If so, join me once a month for the year of 2023. Let’s travel together on a journey aimed towards regaining our creative selves and making new meaning with our lives.

How it will work:

You purchase the book, It’s Never Too Late to Begin Again: Discovering Creativity and Meaning at Midlife and Beyond by Julia Cameron (an Artist’s Way program designed for those in midlife and beyond), and do the exercises she provides on your own, one chapter per month.

We will meet monthly to share what we are learning from the exercises.

This book discussion will be facilitated by Susan Ernst, an artist who began her own creative journey at midlife.

Two meeting options are available:

In person at Willow Oak Center for Arts and Learning in Springfield, TN. On the following dates, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Cost: a suggested donation of $60 to Willow Oak Center is appreciated.

Registration here.
